The Bible is a divine gift from God which contains truths far exceeding any other writings in the world. Many men have written books, called Commentaries, to help us understand the Bible and its teachings.

From this page you are able to browse the commentaries of arguably the two best Commentators of all, John Calvin and Matthew Henry. They are recommended above all others by the great Baptist preacher C. H. Spurgeon and have been popular with theologians, preachers and the everyday Christian for hundreds of years. For various reasons the texts of these commenataries are stored at other sites but hopefully this page will serve as a useful place to bookmark.
